Youth and Families

Deeply Involved, Fully Included

At All Saints’, our children and youth are not just included—they are active participants and leaders in the life of our parish. Whether serving during worship, lending a hand in the kitchen, joining in outreach projects, or tending to our gardens, young people are fully woven into the fabric of our community. We believe that church is most alive when every generation is learning, growing, and serving together.

Special Events & Traditions for Kids and Teens

While our kids are woven into everything we do, we also offer intentional moments just for them, designed to build faith, friendships, and fun:

  • Advent Wreath Evening
Kids and teens coordinate supplies, cook a spaghetti dinner, and invite the entire parish to join in this cherished intergenerational tradition of preparing for Christmas.

  • Youth Sunday & Parish Picnic
At the end of the school year, children and youth lead the entire worship service—preaching, reading, singing, and praying. We follow it up with our joyful annual picnic!

  • Pancake Supper (Shrove Tuesday)
Children and teens plan, cook, and serve a full pancake supper with help from families and parish adults—a lively and beloved lead-in to Lent.

  • 5th Sunday Family Liturgies
On months with a fifth Sunday, we offer a family-centered worship experience:

    • Children’s sermon

    • Kids sit up front with their own Eucharist kits, mirroring the priest’s actions

    • Children’s Choir leads music and offers a special anthem

Formation & Fellowship

  • Sunday Mornings at 9am (Sept–May)
Children and youth volunteers gather for Children's Chapel, followed
by Muffin Club at 9:30 (year round)

  • Children’s Chapel during the 10:15 service
Kids of all ages are invited to step out mid-service for a child-focused lesson and return before communion.

  • Quarterly and seasonal events like movie nights, game days, service projects, and more keep our youth engaged and connected year-round.

Led with Love and Purpose

Our dedicated Children’s Minister builds personal relationships with every child, teen, and family—helping young people explore their faith, ask good questions, and discover how deeply they are loved by God and by this community.

We also make it a priority to create space for kids to be kids, offering environments where they can wonder, play, learn, and grow—always knowing they belong.
