Kate Given joined the All Saints’ staff in 2026. She grew up in Virginia Beach and is happy to return after spending eight years in Richmond, Virginia. She holds a Bachelors in History and Theatre from Mary Baldwin College as well as MFA in performance Pedagogy and a Certificate of Public History from Virginia Commonwealth University. She served as the Children’s Minister and later Director of Formation at Grace & Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Richmond and is happy to return to ministry after taking a period of time away to care for her son, Nat, after his birth. She loves to spend time with her husband, Theo, her son, and their two cats. She feels passionate about the way God’s love shows up in community and is happy to be part of the community of All Saints’.

The Very Rev. Ashley Urquidi

The Very Rev. Ashley Urquidi (Mother Ashley) comes to All Saints’ after seven years of serving as Associate Rector of Old Donation Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach. She got her MDiv from Seminary of the Southwest (Austin, TX), and her BA in psychology from Hood College (Frederick, MD). Ashley is married to Ben Urquidi, and together they have three young children: Levi, Joel, and Leia. 

 

Aside from being a wife and mother, Ashley’s greatest passion is for spreading the Gospel in new and innovative ways, breaking down barriers, and reaching the marginalized. She seeks to empower all with the love and courage of God, and tries always to lead and guide with compassion, grace, and good humor. When she’s not caring for family or parish, you can find her on the beach– likely with a book and cup of coffee or good food (from a local restaurant!)

The Rev. Deacon Marguerite Alley

The Rev. Deacon Marguerite Alley returns to All Saints' after many years away to serve as Deacon. Marguerite was formed and sponsored in her diaconal ministry at All Saints' and did her initial schooling through Duke University; she received her Doctorate in Liturgy Design from the Graduate Theological Foundation in 2013. She has served in many parishes and roles throughout the Diocese of Southern Virginia, with a passion for formation and outreach, as well as liturgy. In her other life, Marguerite taught high school orchestra for over 30 years and in retirement continues to teach part-time as a 5th grade beginning orchestra teacher, has a private studio for teaching cello, and plays in the Virginia Beach Symphony Orchestra. She and her wife Jan enjoy gardening, traveling, and spending time with their two dogs, two cats, and host of fish.

Mrs. Diane Islev-Peterson

Dianne Islev-Petersen has served as the Director for the All Saints’ Day School since the fall of 2011. Dianne comes to us from within our own school where she served as lead teacher of the “Three’s Class” from 2006-2011. In 2010, she added the role of librarian to her responsibilities; a role that found her following her passion for children’s literature.

 

Dianne began her professional career in 1992 as a teacher with the Virginia Beach City Public Schools. For nine years she taught at Kempsville Meadows Elementary School, where she also served as grade level chair, member and secretary of the Principal’s Advisory Committee, Language Arts Committee chair, drug education coordinator, after-school tutor, and co-coordinator of a “Study Buddy” program that paired struggling first graders with fifth-grade student mentors.

Kelly Young

Kelly joined the All Saints’ staff in 2020. She has been employed in various bookkeeping and secretarial positions for many years, most currently as the bookkeeper/secretary for a small classical Christian school. She received her bachelor’s degree from ODU in Decision Science with a minor in Finance. She has been a member of All Saints’ for many years. Her and her husband, Paul, enjoy raising two teenage boys and all the excitement that brings to life.

Kathryn Kelly

Director of Media Ministry

Kathryn  joined the All Saints' staff in 2020  as the Media Specialist.  She brings to the position over 20 years' experience in social media marketing, video production, website design and graphic design.  She attended college at the University of North Texas.

A native of Virginia Beach, Kathryn's desire to be challenged and her natural curiosity have allowed her to tackle the digital marketing field and enjoy the fast pace of the industry. She is pushed to solve problems, whether that's learning a new tool or figuring out how to get the most out the digital age and the endless possibilities that it can offer.  When she isn't working she is spending time with her son, Trick.

Dr. Richard Rossi

Director of Music Ministry

Richard joined the All Saints’ staff in 2026. He grew up in Virginia Beach, VA, where he began to carry on a family tradition of making great music with his father, Anthony F. Rossi as well as his sister, Regina Valentine. Richard holds a DMA in Conducting from the University of Illinois, an MFA in both orchestral and choral conducting from Carnegie Mellon University, a BM in music education with a concentration in piano and organ from Saint Vincent College, and a Master of Divinity from Saint Vincent Seminary. 

 

In addition to his conducting, composing, teaching and singing career, Richard has held church organist positions since he was 16 years old beginning as St. Gregory the Great Parish in Virginia Beach and continuing at various churches around the country for the next forty-plus years before arriving at All Saints’. His latest achievement is as the founder and music director of Transcendence, the first all-professional chorus of Virginia Beach.
